{"id":94,"date":"2012-01-11T20:52:01","date_gmt":"2012-01-12T04:52:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/john.ranola.org\/?page_id=94"},"modified":"2017-04-16T23:08:40","modified_gmt":"2017-04-17T06:08:40","slug":"hprd","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/john.ranola.org\/?page_id=94","title":{"rendered":"Human Protein Reference Database"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For this\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hprd.org\/\">Human Protein Reference Database<\/a>(HPRD) dataset, a link was placed between two proteins for each paper that found some interaction between the pair. \u00a0The resulting multigraph was then analyzed for significant edges using a Poisson model. \u00a0Here is a graphical view of all the proteins with a significant link to the famous tumor supressor protein <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/P53\">tp53<\/a>. \u00a0This subnetwork was analyzed for relevant Gene Ontology(GO) terms using the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bioinformatics.oxfordjournals.org\/content\/21\/16\/3448.full\">BiNGO<\/a>\u00a0plugin for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cytoscape.org\/\">Cytoscape<\/a> and was found to have 43 GO terms which were significant at the 1E-5 level.
